Dr. Sanjeev Lalwani

Dr. Sanjeev Lalwani is currently working as Additional Professor of Forensic Science at the JPN Apex Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi. After graduating from S. N. Medical College Jodhpur, he did his Masters in Forensic Science from AIIMS, New Delhi in 2002 and immediately joined as Senior Resident at Forensic Department, AIIMS in 2002. Since then he has been there in various capacities, in the Forensic Department and currently working as an Additional Professor since 2012.
Dr Lalwani is a fellow of various prestigious national and international academies and societies including, Commonwealth Academic Fellow, Manchester University Hospital, UK (2014), Overseas Fellow, Royal Society of Medicine London. Fellowship of AFMS UK, Fellowship, International Medical Sciences Academy.
Dr Lalwani is a member of various professional bodies and editorial boards including, Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine, Commonwealth Academic Fellow, Manchester University Hospital, UK (2014), Member National Academy of Medical Sciences, India, Executive Member, Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Secretary, ICFMT College of Medical toxicology, Executive Member- South Asian Congress of Forensic Medicine, Forensic Science and Toxicology (SAFCON), Executive Member, Indian Society of Trauma and Acute Care (ISTAC)
Assistant editor, IIJFMT, Advisor, Journal of Geriatric Society of India, Associate Editor and Reviewer of articles- International Journal of Medical Toxicology and Legal Medicine, Deputy Executive Editor and Reviewer of Articles- Journal of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
He is an article reviewer for various national and international journals and has conducted UG/PG Examination as External Examiner in many Universities in India. He is also a member of the Selection Committees for health care workers nurses and faculty.
He has won numerous national and international awards and has >80 Publications in Indexed Journals, along with 5 chapters in books. He has received various certificates of appreciation from academies and Forensic societies.
He is Co-investigator and PhD thesis Co-guide of > 25 research projects funded by various funding agencies in India.
Dr Lalwani has undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience at AIIMS.
He has participated and organized numerous training lectures and autopsy demonstration for participants from various academic institutions.
As a Co-Principal Investigator, Dr. Lalwani actively assists with coordination of JPN Apex Trauma Center, AIIMS, focussing on Autopsy Data Support For ISS Calculation for the AITSC.
