Ms J. Jeyalydia
Bsc. Nursing, MPH(Social Epidemiology)
Ms. J. Jeyalydia is employed as a consultant for the Tamil Nadu Accident and Emergency Care Initiative (TAEI), for the National Health Mission, Tamil Nadu. She graduated from the College of Nursing, Christian Medical College, Vellore and has completed her Master of Public Health in Social Epidemiology from the School of Health Systems Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar, Mumbai, 2017.
Ms. Jeyalydia has worked as a community health nurse and clinical instructor in the Fundamentals of Nursing Department, College of Nursing CMC, Vellore.
Ms. Jeyalydia’s research activities include: morbidity and mortality due to road traffic Injuries –‘’A Systems Approach to RTA’’; incidence and mortality due to snake bites; and unmet need of family planning
Ms. Jeyalydia has received the following accolades: the Silver Medal for the Second Best Student in MPH (2016), Best Student in Social Epidemiology (2015), 2nd General Proficiency for the Academic Years 2006-08, Gnana Lazarus Award for the Best Student in Medical Surgical Nursing Including Clinical Practice, First Rank in Medical Surgical Nursing and Child Health Nursing and Third Rank in Community Health Nursing.
