Mr Sawji Sagar completed his Diploma in Pharmacy in 2012 and his B.PHARMACY in 2015, both from Ideal College of Pharmacy & Research, in Kalyan, Mumba. He qualified for his Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test in 2015 which was conducted by the All India Council of Technical Education, Delhi.
Mr Sagar is currently a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Australia India Trauma Systems Collaboration (AITSC) at the Mumbai hospital site.
He has been certified as an Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) coder, having successfully completed the AIS coding course facilitated by the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine (AAAM), which was conducted in New Delhi in 2015.
Mr Sagar is a pharmacist by trade and has previously worked in a private pharmacy. He has since moved into public health research.
As a JRF for AITSC, Mr Sagar works mainly as a data collector for the AITSC Trauma Registry. He is responsible for the collection of high quality and complete data for trauma patients presenting to LTM General Hospital, ensuring the data is maintained and entered accurately into the registry.
