Ms Sapna Sheth is a Senior Research Fellow currently working at V.S Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujurat. She completed her B.Sc. (Statistics), M. Sc. (Statistics ), and M. Phil (Statistics) all from Gujarat University in 2001, 2003, and 2006 respectively.
Ms Sheth has successfully completed training in Trauma Quality Management and is a certified coder for the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) course facilitated by AAAM.
Ms Sheth has previously worked at “Gyanshala”, an NGO which focuses on informal education to the non-school going children of slums & slum-like localities all across Ahmedabad city. In her role, Ms Sheth was involved in the preparation of teaching modules, training of NGO teachers, ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the programme, data collection and analysis related to the project, documentation of activities and report preparation.
Ms Sheth has also worked as a freelance statistician on a number of projects including,
- Contractual services for statistical coding (with International Classification of Diseases) of Maternal Deaths project with IIM-Ahmedabad (Under Mac Arthur-Chiranjeevi Study)
- Statistical analysis thesis of postgraduate medical students
- Contractual work for data analysis of SAEP (School Adolescent Education Project), Health Forum, Ahmedabad
Ms Sheth is a Senior Research Fellow for the Australia-India Trauma Systems Collaboration (AITSC). She is responsible for the coordination, collection, and entry of patient data in the AITSC Trauma Registry at VS Hospital.
